The swimming-pool is simply gorgeous and the staff very reliable. The walking path heading to the center of Ubud village goes through hundred years old sacred trees inhabited by small monkeys. A delicious jump into tropical nature at five minutes walks to the main road of Ubud.

To get close to local life and find a total peace within yourself. The rooms are surprisingly comfortable: hot water, nice decoration, great views. The small restaurant prepares excellent vegetarian food on order.

This hotel is located in the middle of rice fields surrounded by picturesque hills. Wonderful place, this might be the most “Balinese” place in Bali. Lively traditional life. Peaceful and romantic. Suits as well honeymooners than families. The rooms are really beautiful (hot water, nice decoration) but no air condition (you don’t need it because of the altitude)

Overlooking rice fields running towards Agung volcano (Bali)

This small hotel is bright new. Great location in Balinese unspoiled countryside. The owner is very friendly and will be happy to chat with you about Balinese culture to practice his English (he is the English teacher of the village !). The rooms are nicely furnished and bathrooms got hot water. A very good address.

Close to nature two minutes away from Ubud’s busy streets! (Bali)

This hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy tropical nature and still be close to where things are happening (fancy restaurants, shops, several bars). The rooms are cute and perfectly clean. The service here is overwhelming, and this is not always the case in hotels of this category in Ubud, it is sad to say though. We almost forgot: the swimming-pool is magnificent!
