Day 1
You will get a personalized welcome at the airport, and be directly driven by your English speaking guide to your first hotel wonderfully hidden on a secluded beach in the east of Bali, far from the crowds of mass tourism.
This hotel (code: LU-2) is perfectly away from all and still offers you a great touch of luxury. You feel as in a novel of Conrad right in the nineteen century. Superb authentic Balinese food, gorgeous swimming-pool, all villas are facing the sea, a very unique hotel perfect for relaxing and spend beautiful time with your soul mate. In the evening a delicious diner will be offered by Bali Authentique with the natural orchestra of the sea…

Day 3
In the morning you will take on one of the most picturesque road of Bali along the coast, east of Mount Lempuyang, and go through traditional villages which still have some of the old houses made of volcanic stones.
Before lunch you will have the opportunity to discover by snorkeling or diving (expect to pay 50 euros for 2 dives) the wreck of a second world war boat and the many fishes living around it. After lunch you will have the opportunity to swim in spring waters among the ancient baths and swimming-pool of the king of Karangasem.
Later we will we will bring you to a hidden white sand beach, difficult of access, where you can witness the activities of the local fishermen, enjoy a freshly cut coconut milk, and of course have a bath in clear turquoise water… Back to your hotel at 6 for an evening at leisure.

Day 4
In the beginning of the morning you will enter within the Royal Palace of Amlapura, which brings you back to past times (some descendants of the last king are still living there).
Later you will start from the mountain an easy walk down to the sea level. You will go through gorgeous rice field scenery and small forests. This will be a amazing opportunity to witness farmers every day life and have a bath of tropical nature. Your walk (from 1 to 3 hours depending on your desire) will end in an aborigine village (pre-Hinduism culture) famous for its ancient weaving with human blood.
You will have lunch at Padang Bay beach with the opportunity of taking a bath at a secluded white sand beach with access only by foot. After that you head back to the mountains to a secluded area at the bottom of Gunung Agung volcano in which the inhabitants still live according to the rhythm of the Balinese traditional calendar. The spirit of Bali will open itself entirely to you! Great rice fields panoramas, tiny villages, and a sacred river with natural Jacuzzis…
We have selected for you a small hotel overlooking a beautiful landscape of rice fields owned by the English teacher of the village’s school. He will be glad to talk about the traditional Bali with you and join with him to any Hindu ceremony if there is some going on in the area. You will have the opportunity to have a walk in the rice fields and take a bath in the river, apart, or among the Balinese for which it is custom, before sunset.

Day 5
You will leave your hotel in direction of the Batur volcano and its huge lake. You will go down to the caldera (you may taste some fishes of the lake at lunch) and go through lava hills until a remote village with very narrow houses reminding of Tibetan villages. You will also visit an old temple which survived by miracle to the several eruptions of Batur volcano and have a small walk to get on top of a hill where you can see till Lombok on the east side.
In the middle of the afternoon you will go in direction of Ubud, artistic and cultural capital of Bali and stop on the way at one of Bali’s most traditional village and get introduced to local version of “feng-shui”.
Around 5 o’clock you will reach Ubud, the cultural capital of the island. We selected for you a cozy hotel (code: LU-5) with wonderful swimming-pool located among rice fields in a small village two kilometers south of Ubud. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy the attractions of Ubud town while staying away from the crowd and relax in a peaceful retreat in rural Bali.
The 6 two storey villas of this intimate hotel have air condition and open air bathrooms. You can order your meals in advance and enjoy them in the romantic garden of the hotel (they will be prepared by the owner himself who made a brilliant carrier as a head cook in 5 star hotels). You may also ask for a traditional Balinese massage (7 euros per hour).
- If you are in a more sportive mood you may decide to climb to the top of Mount Abang (4 hours walk) and enjoy spectacular views over Batur volcano. The climbing of Batur volcano itself is unfortunately a tourist trap (local touristic mafia…)
- We may bring you to Besakih temple on the way to Batur, if you can cope for some time being in touch with mass tourism

Day 6
Free day without guide and car…
You may wander around the village and its gorgeous natural surroundings and until Ubud by bicycle

Day 7
In the morning you will visit an impressive Hindu Buddhist site built more than one thousand years ago with the opportunity of a nice walk along a river. Later you will go to a very traditional village and meet a traditional healer at his house. He can detect easily the places where your body is unfit and helps you with a special kind of massage. He also gives you advices about health in general terms and is a master in meditation practice.
You will have lunch at a small fisherman village and eat fish while seating on bamboo mats facing the sea before to visit the Bali Bird Park (about 8 euros entrance fee) where apart the great collection of tropical birds you can also see the famous dragons of Komodo. During this day we can bring you if you want to a Balinese ceremony (wedding, temple anniversary, cremation…) which may be one of the highlights of your Indonesian trip!

Day 8
You will leave your hotel around 9 o’clock and go in direction of the north of Bali. After a stop at a temple located in a monkey forest (the monkeys are believed by the Balinese to be the protectors of the temple) you will continue to gain altitude, entering smoothly into the north Bali mountains and enjoy a soft trek (the difficulty and length will be adapted to your desire) among some of the most beautiful rice fields on the island.
After lunch you will stop at a beautiful botanical garden providing a huge collection of tropical trees from all over the world. Later you will stop at Bedugul’s flower market and visit Pura Danau Bratan, the beautiful temple dedicated to Bratan lake. In the middle of the afternoon you will take a breathless mountain road until leading to a very nice hotel (code: SA-3) located in a traditional village. The very comfortable two floor cottages are of traditional architecture, there are totally in wood and overlook magnificent mountain forest. In the evening you may walk around the village to enjoy the peace of traditional way of life…

Day 9
In the morning you will go to the local market in company of you cooking class teacher to get the ingredients needed for Balinese food (you will get taught about the different spices and vegetables you might see for the first time in your lifetime). Later you will have a walk (from 2 to 3 hours) in the jungle leading to impressive waterfalls.
After having tasted some authentic Balinese food at your hotel you will discover the most unspoiled lake of Bali, only neighbored with some fishermen bamboo huts. You will take a traditional boat ride before to have a short walk along the lake. You will feel far from all and enjoy the mysterious ambiance of the area. Around 5 o’clock you will enjoy a Balinese cooking course (included) and later enjoy at diner time the result of your gastronomic study.

Day 10
In the morning you will visit a beautiful Bouddhist temple constructed on a hill, meet with the small monk’s community and enter within the rooms dedicated to meditation. After a lunch on Lovina’s beach we will bring you to the most famous hot spring waters of the island located among a lush vegetation.
You will be able to relax there among the Balinese who consider the water as having a lot of healing powers. You will later on head west until a secluded luxury beach hotel (code: LU-22), close to the marine reserve of Menjangan, north-west of Bali. Beautiful beach with nice coral reefs to snorkel around. The rooms have a high level of comfort (AC, minibar, open to sky bathroom…), big swimming-pool, beach restaurant… At your arrival a traditional massage will be offered to you in the luxury spas of the hotel…

Day 11
In the morning your guide will bring you to the entrance of the Menjangan Marine Reserve to enjoy few hours among an amazing underwater paradise. A fisherman boat will bring you to the snorkeling spots (around 15 euros per adult), the best in Bali. You may also book scuba diving (about 50 euros for 2 dives).
After lunch at a beach restaurant you will enter within the Menjangan Natural Park and see lots of wild deer, monkeys and birds. You will have a drink at an amazing 3 stairs restaurant made from wood that offers great opportunity to observe the wildlife. Back to your hotel at 5 for an evening at leisure.

Day 12
In the morning you will enjoy a fishing trip on the calm water of a picturesque bay. You may also decide to hunt big crabs or wander about a mangrove forest and do some bird watching (this 3 hours boat session is included). The catch will be passed on the grill of a little beach restaurant. After lunch you will drive along the south coast and stop at the marine temple of Pura Rambut Siwi.
You will reach around 5 your hotel (code: SA-7) located on a secluded beach in the region of Tanah Lot. Your big bungalow has got a private seating area and terrace facing the sea, and a traditional bamboo roof. The restaurant has a great view over the swimming-pool surrounded by rice fields. You may enjoy an intimate sunset on the beautiful and generally deserted beach next to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 13
In the morning we will bring you to the colorful traditional market of Denpasar where you can bargain handcraft, paintings, at amazingly low prices. After lunch you will head to Bukit, the very south part of Bali. You may visit the spectacular Uluwatu temple and walk along the impressive cliffs.
Later we could bring you to a secluded white sand beach, almost unknown by travelers (you might enjoy the place just by the two of you!). Around 5 you will reach your luxury hotel (code: LU-17) wonderfully secluded on the cliffs (a path leads you down to a white sand beach). It provides magnificent bungalows with gorgeous tropical interior design, all facing the sea; big swimming-pool and nice restaurant and bar. The seclusion adds to the luxury of the hotel. Possibility to order traditional massages.

Day 14
Free day without guide and car. Romantic mood and swim in the sea or at the swimming-pool. You may wander around by bicycle to other beaches.

Last massage or last swimming session before to go to the airport, just an hour away. We will personally wish you goodbye.
